Has anyone had problems running Office 97 on Windowes XP? Having loaded the suite onto my PC at home running Windows XP, I find that when trying to open a document using file/open or the 'open' icon, word, excel and powerpoint cannot find any document or folder in the directory set in 'file locations' and crash. Similarly, trying to save a document (opened through 'my computer') also causes the programs to crash.
Do I need all the updates to Office 97 on the microsoft website to run it on XP?
