Overseas Charitable Donation

Overseas Charitable Donation

Didn't find your answer?

If a UK individual made a donation to a Spanish based registered charity, would the donation qualify for a 40% tax deduction via the SA ITR? I say 40% as I assume BR tax will not be obtained at source.

Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks

Charity Aid Foundation
CAF has a number of gift-giving methods that allow for a UK tax credit and Gift Aid to offset a donation to an overseas charity. Visit their website.

I usually have clients use CAFAmerica, which allows a charitable donation deduction in both countries.
