Phenomenal rise in Ltd Contractors
I'm sure that many of you are taking on more OMB Limited Company contractor clients. I'm seeing more blue chip companies, and even banks, "employing" full time people via this route.
IR35 issues aside (please) - can HMRC simply not challenge the "client" (employer) in these circumstances as false employment? If the "supplier" (employee) was a self employed person they'd levy the notional PAYE and NIC on the company without much hassle.
Also, what hoops does the "client" have to jump through to do this? Most contractors I see now operate through an agency rather than contracting direct with the end client. Does this provide some sort of safety net?







Can't ignore IR35 that's what it's there for
