Practice acquisition/disposal agents

Practice acquisition/disposal agents

Didn't find your answer?

Just wondered if anyone on here has ever used any of the practice acquistion/disposal agents and if so any recommendations/pointers?

I have been in contact with most of them
Currently I am making my second practice purchase. Over the last few years I have had dealings with most of the practice brokers out there.

If you are buying and want a broker to do targetted a mail shot for you I would try Draper Hinks, 02476 303121. If you are selling and think your practice would suit a large regional or national practice they may also be good.

For a more normal sale you may be better with one of the brokers with a well maintained website listing what they have for sale. The 2 that I tink are best from that point of view are Vivian Sram and Owens Professional

Practice Disposal Agency
I don't know what part of the country you hail from but the ICPA are putting on a seminar at Gatwich on Wednesday 26th on buying/selling a practice.

Paula Tallon of Chiltern will be dealing with all the tax aspects and Jeremy Kitchen will be dealing with the practical aspects.

Jeremy has been in the field of practice acqusitions and disposals for some years and he operates from his base in Nottingham.

I suggest that you checkout his website at www.apma.co.uk which will be of benefit to you.

If you want to attend the seminar checkout our site at www.icpa.org.uk to download the application.
