Practice Management with CRM software

Practice Management with CRM software

Didn't find your answer?

I read in AccountingWeb that there was a need for low cost practice management and CRM software, but nothing appears to have happened over the last three years or so.

I am a sole practicitioner and would certainly benefit from this, but not at the current costs. I was speaking to a client today whom is a programmer and writes for one of the large software houses and they produce CRM etc, but nothing aimed at the small accountants office. He does some programming part time and is very interested in producing some software for us small accountants.

He has asked me to give him a list of the requirements and would appreciate everyone's help in pointing him in the right direction as to what is actually required. I have drawn up a list, but would appreciate further comments.

If you, like me, feel you could benefit from low cost software aimed specifically at the small office, please let me have your thoughts.

BTC & Absolute

These two spring to mind immediately.

I don't use either of these, but have trialled BTC and it would fit the bill for most small practices. Maybe looking at what is on the market already will give you a good indication.

Tee cards
We went down the route of a simple visual system, basically a t card system on your network. Not all Tge bells and whistles but does mean you can see at a glance the stage of all jobs and where there are bottle necks.
