Practice software that caters for sub-contractors?

Practice software that caters for sub-contractors?

Didn't find your answer?

Ideally as part of time ledger but distinguishing between employees and sub-contractors. It is important to tie in with an accounting package (or be part of one)and not too expensive please?. Any thoughts?

Time Ledger - Employees & Sub-Contractors
Both TimeExpense and FixedFee from T. Bookman Ltd (www.tbookman.co.uk) can be used for both employees and sub-contractors. Both are used to record time worked and expenses incurred. The FixedFee version has the added feature of being able to record and analyse work done on fixed fee projects.
Products are reasonably priced and the support fees are OK compared to many.

Sub-Contractors
You caould have a look at http://www.moneysoft.co.uk 's Payroll pro program. Although the Sub-contractors side of it deals with the Construction Industry, you may be able to tailor it to your practice for a very few quid. If it doesn't quite fit what you are looking for, at least you will have seen a good payroll program in action.

Sub-contractors in accountancy profession
Vertisys's package for accountants deals with this aspect quite well. It has loads of other useful bits for smaller practices. This feature is an integral part of their all in one accounting/practice management package. It is best to visit the website at www.vertisys.co.uk and ask for demo pack or on line demo.
