I am a sole practitioner, who mainly prepares SA returns, and accounts for small sole trader businesses.
A client has asked me to prepare a profit projection, to assist in a mortgage application.
Although I have never had to do this before in practice, I feel quite capable in doing so. BUT, I am unsure of the layout, and the accountant's report / disclaimer which should be included.

ICAEW Guidance 908
There is guidance in ICAEW guidance 908 - Accountants reports on profit forecasts.
This was in Auditing Standards and guidance for members 1999. Unfortunately it is not in the 2002/3 equivilent. I do not know but it may be available online.
