just picked up a professional services style client who is a "time and materials" plus related cogs -

they have bought sage50 already! and started to set it up

my questions relate around the project costing side of the package, not the nominal ledger structures

in essence how can time sheets be auto entered, and is there any good 3rd party application [ any tricks to look out for regarding integration ? ]

can sales invocies be raised with time for period @ a price [ ie can director be setup with charge out at 500/day manager 400/day next@ 300/ day next2 @ 150/day etc }

can costs be auto picked up , and rebilled [ cost or cost plus option ] ie specific travel accom etc

any other comments as to setup for a professional services style b2b using sage project costing within sage itself very much appreciated

i guess really can sage handle this or not - the fact they have already invested in sage may be irrelevant if the software does not handle the real needs of business !
