Hello, can anyone recommend a specialist software package (accounting based or otherwise) which would be suitable for use by a small/medium of residential property development/investment consultants. My company acquires, refurbishes and lets/manages property for high net worth individuals and trying to find something that cope with all these facets has been very difficult. It could be a project management based system which incorporates an investment appraisal module or a lettings and management package that could be tweaked to encompass all our requirements.

It's a bit difficult to be more specific because your questions are at quite a high level.
Some of the standard accounting system may be able to meet the requirements you mention, depending upon how much you want to spend and what the detailed functional requirements are. I would say though, in my experience these systems would tend to be the mid market packages.
You might try a specialist such as SDM in Chester (http://www.sdmc.demon.co.uk/) or Prosoft (http://www.prosoftps.com/) who both supply software to housing associations and the like.
