Public Liability Insurance

Public Liability Insurance

Didn't find your answer?

I have started up doing freelance book-keeping and my business is expanding.

However, I seem to be having problems in finding out where I can take out Public Liability Insurance to cover me in the field in which I am working. I am also in the process on taking on a member of staff, so will need to ensure Im covered for employees as well.

Thank you for any advice.

PII
I have been using Francis Townsend for a few years and find their service to be excellent.
The contact I use is Amy Thompson who has been very helpful over the years. Contact [email protected] or call 0208 404 5031.

Icon
I've used Icon for a few years and they seem to specialise in small businesses.

Well..................
Depending upon your age and experience, you may qualify to become a member of the ICPA. Have at look at: www.icpa.org.uk

The subscription, including PI insurance with Icon, is likely to be less than the PI cover you could obtain yourself and you would receive all of the other memebership benefits.

Either way, individual cover is usually far more expensive than by being part or a group or association.
