Hi,

Could anyone confirm for me if you need to disclosure a reconciliation of the movements in Members interests in abbreviated LLP financial statements under UK GAAP?

I tried searching the web, but couldn't find any guides on this.

No

I use VT to prepare accounts and it doesn't include members interests in the abbreviated accounts. I submitted last years accounts to Companies House without the members interest note and I had no problems.

Thank you.  We did exactly that and for the past 2 years it's been fine.  The auditors have now suggested it needs to be in there, but hopefully they have just made a mistake.

Not needed

The reconciliation is a requirement of the SORP. It is not a legal requirement and hence is not required in the abbreviated accounts.
