New one today, malicious SPAM from "Amazon"
That is sneaky as I have an order in the pipe, but the usual ZIP gave it away!

The current crop of fake eMails with viruses attached inside .zip files includes the following:
From (someone) @rbs.co.uk "Important attached docs"From Payments Admin @LloydsTSB.co.uk "You have received a new debit"From (a description) @Fedex "Rolling exceptions report" From (a description) @Virgin Media "Your virgin media bill is ready"From (a description) @ CompaniesHouse
Common factor is in all cases an attachment is present (which must NOT be opened) and more often than not from a sender with whom no commercial relationship exists.
The firm that I work at had a manager who fell for the Companies House one - he opened the eMail attachment. When our IT support were asked about anti-virus software their reply was "no on a Term Server we wouldn't have an anti virus software as it would slow things down - there's AV software (Trend Micro) on each work station". The eMail system is MS Outlook. On checking the Term Server running processes I find that Windows Defender is running.
