I am currently unable to connect to the Taxfiler website, my email to Support bounced back and my phone calls (to Sales and Paresh Patel's mobile number) have gone unanswered. Is anyone else having problems or has anyone heard anything?

Sorry folks. It looks like one of our data centres has come under a DDOS attack. We are re-routing around the problem and hope to be back very shortly.
Working OK for me.
EDIT - try entering go.taxfiler.co.uk rather than taxfiler.co.uk (bypass the main page).
Taxfiler software not working
Data centres at Taxfiler have come under a DDOS attack.Any know what this means ?? what does DDOS mean ???
Taxfiler not working
It seems that in practice the helpline for Taxfiler could be other using on accounting web using 'any answers ' !!!!!
Taxfiler working now
I had tried every which way, bookmarked or not, every browser and every device - so intrigued that go.taxfiler.co.uk worked for Tim when it didn't for me.
Searched DDOS on Google - and found it seemed to be a mass targeted hit aimed to overload a site until it crashes - I assumed like artificially creating the deluge impact of the first day of John Lewis sales??
Taxfiler not working
go.taxfiler.co.uk is letting me access as well ( I use google chrome if it matters)
go. one working for me now
I thought DDOS attacks only happened to really big companies to cause nationwide disruption?
DDOS attacks can happen to anyone, and can often happen to backend ISPs (i.e. the ones that your provider uses to route your information through - and these aren't the same for everyone).
Often your inability to access websites or services may not be anything to do with those specific services or websites, but a problem somewhere en-route.
Basically someone somewhere decided to use a botnet (a network of hijacked computers) to attack a section of the internet yesterday, causing routing problems for lots of people as various sections of the network were overwhelmed. I believe Taxfiler wasn't the only company or person affected.
English only please
