I received my invitation to join the beta test for AOSS yesterday - months after applying by completing the questionnaire.  As I could hardly restrain my enthusiasm for this exciting new HMRC IT development, I tried to log in today using, as specified, our Government Gateway User ID and password, but it was rejected.  I know the codes were correct because I was able to log into our agent GG account using the same codes (incidentally, I am surprised that AOSS is not listed on our GG account as an online service for which we could enrol).  I filled in the e-mail on the HMRC log in page to ask for help, but they are promising a reply only within 2 days.

I also tried using our own GG User ID and password, but that was rejected on the grounds that we had to log onto AOSS as agents, which was entirely reasonable.

I recall some threads on AWeb about problems with logging on to AOSS, but cannot find them using the search facility.  Could someone help with any advice, please?

Can only help you by saying I have just logged in no problem - been part of the testing for many months.

Means it's a problem with your log-in rather than a system issue - maybe it takes a few days for you to be added?

By the way, it's quite good - payroll anyway, though it's just the information we should have always had, at least we now have it!
