This question pops up so regularly that we have decided to host a webinar on 17 October to explore the factors that you should consider when looking for programs to automate your practice.
Experienced practice consultant Mark Ryan, myself, and AccountingWEB member Elizabeth Eyre will be on hand to explore the software selection agenda, but we would also like to hear from someone who is going through the process - perhaps to gear themselves up for the forthcoming self assessment season.
The event is being run by AccountingWEB and will be sponsored by Thomson Reuters (Digita), but it will not push a particular kind of software at you or anyone else. One of the first mistakes software shoppers make is to think one kind of software is better than another. As we will try to explain in more depth during the webinar, the selection process should focus more on how to work out your priorities and find the software that fits them best.
