I have had a couple of new clients, authorisation codes entered and accepted but still not showing up on my system 72 hours later? Anybody else having this issue?

yes
Still not showing up after successful online submission on Thursday. I telephoned HMRC yesterday and they confirm I appear as the authorised agent, but not yet able to access online. Advised to wait a little longer, hmmm ...
Logon to the government gateway (not HMRC) and go to "manage clients". Filter to Unassigned and you should find them. Then simply assign them to someone.
Thanks
I have logged on via government gateway but cannot find a manage clients tab, there are over 120 clients somewhere and I am a sole practitioner so not normally used to managing or assigning them! Help!
It's not a tab - it's a link on the left in the tiniest font that they could find. Y'know, to make things easy and convenient.
Oh, and the filter is to "Nobody", not Unassigned.
Same issue here -entered 5 clients auth codes and none shown after 3 days - online services are aware (5 other callers phoned with same issue when I spoke to them (10.30am)
I have tried gov gateway also - but cannot see any 'manage clients' link or any such page... i just end up on the same green hmrc site with no clients!
For those who can't find the link on Government Gateway, I've highlighted it. NB. You must log in with an administrator account.
Thank you for the info that I could manage clients through the Government Gateway – never knew that. Very valuable tool.
Have just logged in and actually see a few clients for whom I do not act any more, but 3 new clients for whom authority codes were entered in to HMRC system on Monday do not appear here as well.
Found that - many thanks - Clients are NOT showing on this list either- currently no clients auth codes entered since Friday 15 April are showing - I will phone online services tommorow for an update - Just to be clear it is a known issue at the moment and other agents are having the same problem!
HMRC online services helpdesk just claimed to know nothing of any problem, and said it's four working days from code entry before it's "a problem".
I did ask whilst I was at it why an entirely computer driven and automated system needs four days, and she tried expressing the amount of work involved.
Now, I'm also a trained computer programmer, and happily pointed out the amount of work Amazon.com has to do to serve a page from the US after collating information from varied databases and then sending it half way around the world to me, and Amazon achieve that in a couple of seconds. You can then order and have your goods arrive 13.5 hours later (happened to me last week, though .co.uk, not .com), but the order was 15:30 Sunday afternoon and delivered 09:00 Monday morning - impressive)
She stopped trying to defend at that point and admitted she had no idea.
I've been ringing online helpdesk about this since Monday. They are aware of the issues. They told me that they could see that the authorisation codes had been entered successfully and that the various files showed that I was authorised as agent, however they couldn't explain why the client was not showing on my client list.
They informed me that Corporation Tax usually takes 4 working days to show on client list but PAYE and CIS should show within 24 hours.
They have escalated my problem and promised someone would ring me back - no-one has yet!
Can`t see a client for whom authorisation code entered on Monday, but phoned to Agent Helpline and they confirm that we are shown as agents on their system.
So will just go ahead and submit TR using the 3rd party software.
Entered new auth code this morning 3 hours later appeared as usual - but previous 5 clients still missing - as per other posters I am showing as the agent when calling the agent helpline.
Hopefully bug fixed
Mine have now appeared
My missing client appeared on Sunday after over a week since entry of the authorisation code
The 'technical term' from the online help desk was that there was a 'mis-alignment'.
Spoke to the Helpdesk on Saturday and all apart from one missing clients appeared on the list on Sunday and this morning.
Still waiting for the very last to find his way through.
I had four appeared on the Government Gateway this morning (and I was only waiting for one), but not on HMRC systems because assigned to no-one. Now fixed but will take a couple of days
Mine too
Appeared on Sunday after phoning the help desk on Friday, at least I only had one missing.
