I have been approached by a company based in the UK to provide a bookkeeping service. They also have a company based in the Republic of Ireland and have asked if I could do that bookkeeping as well.  Can I do this, and if so what are the problems I may have?

Watch out for the different VAT rates if applicable.

Same applies. I am not aware that the place of residence of the client makes any difference. Why should it?
