Business One Page Plan

Business One Page Plan

Didn't find your answer?

Has anyone heard of "Business One Page Plan"? I got a mail shot which explained absolutely nothing about it. Does anyone know what it is and if it is any good?

Get more info on it from them through the accountants link
I doesnt give much away but it just looks like a flash report with some KPI,s on. Cannot see how it can turn around a 200k loss to £100k profit as it claims.

Also try www.backofafagpacket.co.uk

Glennzy

I get a security alert when I click your link. I'm not sure whether it is over-zealous anti-virus, or a dodgy webpage.

Has anyone else a problem viewing it?

Must be a reason for being so shy

I suppose if it was any good the mailshot and web site would tell you what it was.

It is indeed a KPI monitoring system

Its new.

Its for monitoring KPIs.

Its done on an online portal, like, eg xero accounts.

Each client pays a monthly subscription.

For most accountants I think the better option would be to taylor a spreadsheet with the client and save the sub fee by completing it offline. However, no doubt there are folk who would point out that you could say the same thing about an accounts package!

I think its by Paul Wickersham but I might be mistaken.

EDIT: Mark Wickersham?

@Zarathustra

Paul Shrimpling.

You're right a tailored spreadsheet would be better. AVN/Accountants Club amongst others have covered this so its nothing new.

Calling it a one page business plan is misleading - try taking it to the bank to use to gain finance.

For most of my clients all they're interested in is how much money they're making and how much cash is in the bank.

The other obvious KPI's to look at are sales price, gross margin, overheads. I often do this and it does sometime lead to additional work.

Beyond that most of my clients wouldn't be interested.

Thanks zarathustra and Kent; that is quite helpful. Mixinmigurus made me laugh.
