can Aweb - Disable the submit button after post...

Didn't find your answer?

Just disable the post button after new posting has been made - it is not rocket science and this particular wrinkle has been in the site for a long time now.

Please don't take the Sage approach whereby problems are known about for many years but ignored in favour of new' features'

This is presumably the issue with the post - https://www.accountingweb.co.uk/anyanswers/question/business-purchase-0

Not noticed

It's not something I've seen, though I notice your topic has been posted twice...

I'm going to see if I can click post a few times.

Will ask the question

Not sure if this is possible off the top of my head but will certainly ask the question.

Will also resist the opportunity to press Submit twice or three times - although it's always important to test what members report ....... ;)

Well...

As long as you are amusing yourself, duck.

You aren't discussing anything, so I don't need to request it be moved. But do remember that when you make a post anyone who is subscribed gets an alert and some people have set to get these immediately so it's probably a bit annoying for them!

At the risk of upseting yet more people

I'm in a quandry now; do I appologise and cause yet another email to be sent, or do I keep quiet...

My desire to appologise has won.  Sorry all!  I shall be quiet now.....
