Can i obtain a practicing certificate from any organisation other than the acca

I've worked in small practice for many years. I'm intending to start my own practice and have applied for my non-audit practicing certificate from the ACCA as I haven't met their 900 hours auditing requirements over a two year period. A company that exceeds the audit limits have approached me over doing there audit, and I am aware I have to turn this down as I don't have the correct practicing certificate to do, as I haven't had enough hours of audit experience over any two year period. Is there any way around this, i.e do any other of the professional bodies issue audit practicing certificates, with not so tough criteria as the 900 hours rule?
