Cash flow - hit a wall

Cash flow - hit a wall

Didn't find your answer?

Hi

I have a retranslation of the net assets from USD to GBP of (£20k), on the face of the P&L this is showing under net assets. Now when I come to balance my cash flow I need to include this entry somwhere, even though (a) it's below net assets in the P&L & (b) it's not a cash flow. Please help? TMany thanks

Can you explain what you want more clearly please?  In particular your statement that something is showing under net assets on the face of the P & L does not make much sense.

Sorry it's a charity, so it's a SOFA rather then P&L.

I looking for guildance where the (£20k) should fit into the cash flow, I know it has to somewhere for it to balance, maybe it should be included in net assets as it's not a true cash flow?

Reconciliation of operating profit to net cash inflow

I assume you mean an exceptional income or expense?

If so it should be adjusted in the Reconciliation of operating profit to net cash inflow  from operations.
