change of shareholder

Hopefully someone can help.

Have a client that used a formation agent to set their Ltd company up.  The formation director resigned soon after incorporation and I have appointed the client as director and submitted the appropriate appointment form with Companies House.

The shareholding, according to bank, is still under the formation directors name at Companies House.

This will be updated at Companies House when the annual return is submitted but the first one isnt due until Feb next year.

How can I confirm to bank that the client now owns the subscriber share rather than the original formation director?

1. Send share transfer form to formation agent to transfer share?

2. Do a board minute to confirm transfer?

3. Update register to confirm transfer? (though client doesnt have a register)

Surely others with clients that have used formation agents have had this issue in the past?  New one for me as I either set the company up for the client or the client usually does themselves via Companies House website rather than using a formation agent.
