Childminding & Wear & Tear Allowance

Childminding & Wear & Tear Allowance

Didn't find your answer?

A client has duly pointed out that she is allowed to claim 10% of the gross turnover as wear & tear allowance on her accounts. She runs the childminding business from her house that she shares with her husband and it is her full time business. We do not claim on her self employed accounts any utilities expenses.

May I have some input as to whether I can claim such allowance please.

Thanks

I take it

That you have not bothered to do any research of your own? If you had, you would have found this: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/bimmanual/BIM52751.htm
