CIMA AND AAT

CIMA AND AAT

Didn't find your answer?

.. if a student accountant, studying AAT had also in this time registered with CIMA & completed the 5 exams for the ' would Certificate in Business Accounting' would this add significant value or would it be unnecessary?

I ask as i'm studying L2 AAT and will move on to L3, but in the mean time considering registering with CIMA as well.

I did both

I completed AAT first then progressed onto completing CIMA.

AAT is a good work based qualification which will stand you in good stead to do CIMA or other qualification if you have not been through the Degree route.

I am not sure why you would register both at the same time if you feel you could tackle CIMA

straight off then go for it but you will find it difficult I think.

I dont think you would have time to study both together whilst working full time?
