A potential loft extension client in addition to other work, wants me to take over CIS. Currently I do not have any CIS clients.

In terms of HMRC submissions, have I got this right:

  • Check the status of a subcontractor on HMRC website.
  • Where it applies tax is deducted before making payment to subcontractor
  • Monthly and Annual return to HMRC

I use moneysoft.
