Has anyone had any experience of HMRC gross status review? I have a client that has received a review notice that her gross status will be withdrawn a she has ONE late payment (4 weeks.) The last payment was due to a mix up with the husband thinking she paid it and she thought he had paid it. Does anyone have experience of the likelihood of this being accepted or similar case? Obviously the loss of gross status has a financial impact and that would be stated.

We had a similar issue recently with one late payment & once the matter was explained to HMRC as a genuine oversight the review was closed without any further action.
