Claiming Expenses on a None Director Dividend

Claiming Expenses on a None Director Dividend

Didn't find your answer?

I'm completing a tax return for an individual who is an employee of a company and has received a dividend that wish to declare. They also wish to claim expenses for travel and office etc. as they attend none directory board meetings but where do I include them on the HMRC online tax return?

The dividend appears in the dividend section. The expenses appear in the expenses in employment section.

I assume they are a shareholder and that it is a dividend and not disguised salary?
