Claming a mileage expense in capital gains

Claming a mileage expense in capital gains

Didn't find your answer?

My client spent a lot of time travelling back and forth fixing up his investment property.

Is it possible to claim mileage or travel expenses in this situation?

Off topic slightly
If the property was bought with the sole intention of renovating and selling, then it wouldn’t be a capital gain anyway.
