Clients dont you just love them

I have just settled a lenghty paye enquiry stressful all round. Inspector going for fuel benefit on 4 expensive cars because whilst payment made for private fuel he considered not enough and a property was transferred from Ltd Co to Directors atr under value

We won on fuel and reduced the Revenue market value All going well so far and I sent in my fee of £2500 which had been agreed prior to issue.

What could go wrong?. The Client has just left voicemail to say that as enquiry had been so stressful on Wife  he is taking her away for a 4 week break It is

going to cost about £7.500 and obviously he 'cant afford to pay me now that this has come up. Back at end of November and hopefully will be able to pay fee before Christmas. Have told xxxxx to ring you if any problems crop up'

Surprise surprise he is out of office and mobile is off.

Would most people wait for money or force issue
