Cocaine anyone?

Cocaine anyone?

Didn't find your answer?

I am amazed by the people that I know that snort cocaine. A few are addicted to heroine. I'm just a boring chartered accountant and live a relatively sheltered life.

Some of these accountants and lawyers have lost their teeth. They just fall out. Even your finger tips can fall off in the end.

I'll smoke a cigarette and have a few pints. That is the end of that.

One solicitor that I know took my last £50 for heroine. I didn't realise that at the time. She said I'm off to work now. I said at 10.30 pm surely your office must be closed. She said it's chucking out time and I need a new client.

The holiday season must be busy for some of us professionals. How that works, I dread to think.

Seasons greetings to you all,

David

Cocaine story / Accountancy boring?

Turned out this solicitor was a prostitute if we may use such in incorrect term.

Suggested that I would help her and why not get methodone?

In the end, sent an email from my acc to Paddington Green Police Station.

Nothing happened.

About a month later my neighbour was surrounded by six police vans and about thirty armed police officers.

Who said accountancy was boring

Drugs

That was about a few weeks after that lady was Killed near Woodys Griill in Kilburn. Nasty lot. Don't know them, met them once, and will co-operate with police as always.

Hero

I'll vote for Grayson Perry the eccentric potter. Have a look at his work. Also his outfits are rather unusual. x

Keefy Richards

Yes, He's excellent. Greyson Perry is now a bit more up to date. His outfits are a bit more avant garde. x

Personally

I think heroes are better - some might go so far as to say they're super :)

I don't know about heroin...

...but some of the folk posting here are definitely under the influence of something.  Merry Christmas anyway.

I'd just like to point out that the thread with "Cocaine Anyone?" is in the top 4/5 read posts within the latest answers section............

Tells its own story in these very busy times for the practitioner :)

Concaine Craigie?

Thanks for your comment. Sometimes I despair with the attitude of some practitioners. Surely they deal with real people who live in the real world. There are some issues that no one will address.

For an example let's look at a posting: "my client has been given the wrong tax code. What shall I do? "

Maybe the answer is to go to the Citazens Advice Bureau, If I was a GP I would probably consider the mental health act, possibly prescribe methadone and seriously consider throwing away my stethoscope.

Frank - like to talk to you

Turns out this solicitor said that she expected to be in Holloway Prison by August. So, thought that was the end of that.  But a few weeks ago she spotted me in Kilburn High Road. I said I thought you were in prison. She said, no I got away from court and as free as you.

But what about your tax return I bleated.

You can guess. She doesn't care, so why should we?

Salvation Army - Vote for them

That is my favourite charity. I lived in a hostel inWestminster for two. (Just behind Westminster Abbey.) That's where I picked up a few of my alternative ideas.

It was heaven - no tax returns, just some dodgy people, although they were interesting and many were were lovely people.

Comfortable room, CRIS people always helpful. St Martins in the Strand brilliant.

Much better than pretending to be a professional person.

G-d bless

George Orwell's other book

Have a look at "Down and out in Paris and London" One of his less well known missives.
