Earlier in the week a client attempted to email me a Companies House complaint email.
I should have recognised the warning signs - my email account rejected the mail, the client was convinced the email was genuine so I asked him to forward it to a personal email account.
Needless to say it had an attachment which contained a virus.
So if you or a client receives a similar email - DON'T OPEN THE ATTACHMENT!
Fortunately I managed to get rid of the virus so not too much harm done.
Companies House confirmed the email is a scam designed to steal password details.
This link has some details.

Sender [email protected] ?
The eMail that I received look like it came from Companies House.
When I moved it to junk, the sender's name changed to (someone)@rbs.co.uk.
"(someone)" was a name which I've redacted.
