Hi all,
I have a question related to VAT, sorry for english mistakes, i'm french.
We do our sales in Hong Kong through a website.
We work with seller's goods and we sell them to a buyer. We take a commission on the service.
Seller and buyer could be in a different country or the same one.
We will let all the seller's good in the country of origin and ship them directly to the buyer after the sale.
I have no problem with sellers outside of EU because i know i have to pay the import VAT.
What does happen when sellers and buyers are in UK or in EU ? Should i charge the sale VAT even if the sale takes place in Hong Kong ?
We charge a "buyer's commission" as well, it's our service, should i charge a VAT on that as well ? The team which provide the service is all around the world and in UK.
Thank you
William
