Company secretarial and accounts production software

Company secretarial and accounts production...

Didn't find your answer?

I have a small sole practice (10 companies plus a mix of sole traders, personal and trust clients) and currently use VT+ for book-keeping and statutory accounts plus Digita for Personal tax and Trust tax. I find VT+ quite clunky for statutory accounts, especially if accounting policies and accounts notes need creating or revising.  I don't use any package for Company Secretarial.  I see that Digita accounts package gets relatively poor reviews when compared with VT+.  Could anyone use it explain why?  Also, I'd welcome comments on Company Secretarial packages that users like.

Poor reviews?

Where have you seen poor reviews for Digita Accounts Production?

I've not seen them.

If you mean that some people rave about VT+ (do you mean VT Final Accounts?) and less people rave about Digita I would think it's due to VT being cheaper and so more people buy it. I am very happy with Digita Accounts Production and it does all I could ever need as well as having fantastic technical support.

Digita Company Secretarial is good too!

ICAEW user ratings are low for Digita

See https://www.accountingweb.co.uk/anyanswers/question/what-accounts-produc... which admittedly, I have worked out, comes from 2011 report - IT in accountancy practices survey report 2011 (ICAEW)

And yes I was referring to VT+ Final accounts.
