Corporation Tax Note to accounts

Corporation Tax Note to accounts

Didn't find your answer?

I am new back to accountancy and very rusty! Sage is not bringing up a note for corporation tax as none is due for my client, but do I still need to add a note to say that none is due, and if so does it need to be a P&L note? Will be a bit of a pain to adjust note numbers in word and add the note. Was hoping if required I could tag it on the end of my notes......arrgghhh. They are being signed tomorrow, so quick responses will make me very happy. Many thanks in advance.

CT note
No. Don't worry about it. The note is not being generated because there is nothing to say. VAP would be the same, although generating an optional note to state "No tax is due based on the result for the year" is simple in VAP. I presume no note was appropriate last year either.

Brilliant. Thanks Chris. The accountants for last generated a note saying no corp tax was due which is why I thought I might have to do the same. Phew!
