CT41G replacement

CT41G replacement

Didn't find your answer?

In the absence of the CT41G forms which are now, I believe, defunct, has anyone tried to use the HMRC online to register a new client's Ltd Co?  I have tried but just go round and round once I've logged in.  Anyone gone ahead and done this yet?  Any tips?

computer says no

HMRC are aware if this glitch and we have been unable to register any newco to date yet. All we are doing on their advice is write to them informing them of the companys existence with basic details and when trade commenced or will commence. That apparently will suffice so turn back the clock on this one until they sort it out.

Can you register for tax on companies house website
If you incorporate using co house website There is an option at the end of the process asking if you want to register with HMRC. I'm assuming this does what the ct41g used to.

New company CT41g

I am ready to be shot down in flames, and if I am being stupid then I deserve to be.  But I am totally confused with the CT41g.  I got auth for a new company and sure enough it appears on our agent CT list.  But no CT41g has been completed and I am fearful that at some point HMRC will deliver one of their delicious penalty notices for non filing of a CT600 for the few days between formation and the start of the accounting period.  EG. company formed 15th August so CT600 will run 1st September to 31st August.  15th to 31st August open to a fine?  I suppose we can submit zero returns for these dates, but when we had the forms we were able to make sure that we put the trading date from a sensible time.  1st September in this case.

So please, shoot me down in flames but put me out of my misery.  How on earth do you submit a CT41g?  Please don`t say through the website.  Its worse than going to I`ll killher. (ikea) you just want to give up!
