I just want to check I have understood correctly how to deal with the new employment allowance.
I think the position is that my payroll software still calculates the ERNI that is due (includes in on Payslips, etc) but I need to under-pay HMRC each month by the amount of ERNI generated in the month until the £2000 allowance is consumed. Is it as simple as that?
I have sent in an EPS to activate the employment allowance with HMRC.
