Director & Taxi Travel

Director & Taxi Travel

Didn't find your answer?

I'm sure this is fine, but doesn't seem right.

Company has three directors, two use public transport, whilst third uses taxi's (they don't like public transport).

The businesses or places that the third director visits are all fairly local and accessible by the use public transport.

Location is west London and all taxi's are legitimate for business use, but doesn't make it right.

Surely if London Transport is available, then that should be used, the cost of the taxi's are not an issue.

The other two directors are not concerned about the third using taxi's

What's HMRC's view and would there be any P11D issues or company tax?

Thanks
