I understand that Virgin recently implemented SPF on their servers and this has caused many problems with emails getting through. SPF is essentially a method of server verification used to combat spam, so either there are problems with the way it's been implemented at the Virgin end or else your particular server is not correctly implementing SPF when sending emails. I suggest getting your IT providers to verify that your servers are SPF compliant and that your emails are being routed through the correct mail servers.
