Hi All,

I am a big fan of electronic authorisation and am utilising it as much as possible in my quest to reach a paperless office!

Using a combination of Iris OpenSpace & EchoSign I get almost everything signed electronically - with the exception of final Accounts.

I still send final accounts out in the post for a live signature. 

What is the experience of getting final accounts approved electronically? Has there been any resistance from clients?

My experience tells me that clients in fact value that. I say this based on my experience in providing PaperLess software to hundreds of clients across Europe and in fact document flow and online approval are among some of the features clients value the most.

Just the opposite

My experience is exactly the opposite.

Most clients like to sign a bit of paper and get a signed paper copy of their accounts in return.

I have used electronic signatures but only when time is pressing or for a client who lives a fair way away (Australia).
