Employee with two jobs and BR code: He is not happy
An employee already had a sunday job at a supermarket . He joined my client in May full time on a salary of £13K per annum. He will keep his Sunday job. He ticked Statement C (ie he has another job) on the P46 my client gave him.
His earnings from the Sunday job are no more than £2K per annum.
He is now being taxed at BR at my client's and he is not happy. Is it possible to classify his job at my client's as his main job and have the normal tax code applied? He can then go on BR at the supermarket.
What's the best way to tackle this?
