Experiences of moving away from Iris...

Experiences of moving away from Iris...

Didn't find your answer?

Why did the accountant cross the road? Because he did it last year. That is a joke that is often levelled at accountants and auditors and one that could be justified in terms of our choice of practice software. We've used Iris for years (I guess they may read this post!) and our stock answer when asked if we would move away is that "it would be too much hassle" - an answer often given without too much thought as to whether it would indeed be true.

I would be interested to hear of other's experiences with such a move - the pros and cons and whether, in hindsight, it was a good move.

We use Iris accounts production, business tax, personal tax, trust tax, practice management, auditor and company secretarial.

If this has been discussed elsewhere on Any Answers, then please feel free to point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Integrated software

Digita software is pretty similar to Iris - but cheaper - so I would think that you could convert to Digita and they would help you to make it as painless as possible.
