I found to my horror that I had been put on Face Book sometime ago by I know not who (but have dark thoughts about). I deleted my entry and since then my spam e-mails have gone down by 90%. This cannot be a coincidence and I suspect that it is an information gathering exercise of no conceivable useful purpose exceept to enrich a small number of companies and put personal information into governmental hands.
