I recently checked a retired client's SA record and was surprised to see an amount due for repayment - £1400'ish. He has not been in the system for several years now and our office file has been put to bed. When I clicked on the link to display the details, the narrative was 'no information available' or such like. I could still interrogate the history by other menu options and there was nothing to show where this figure had come from. I got through to HMRC on my agent line and the rep was able to replicate the problem but no idea of why it was happening. On a visit yesterday to a colleague, coincidentally, he was just puzzling over the same thing. Does anyone know if this systems error is being fixed?
