FHL - hedge purchase

FHL - hedge purchase

Didn't find your answer?

Client with a furnished holiday let (meets all qualifying conditions) has purchased a hedge and fencing for approx £750 in total to act as a secure boundary between the FHL and his own property next door.

Is any part of this expenditure tax deductible, either as a revenue expense or a capital allowance for the FHL? Or would it be seen as an improvement to the overall property and therefore not allowable at all?

Thanks for any advice.
