Filing 30 April 2013 corporation tax return

Didn't find your answer?

My computer says 'No'.

Is this an issue with my software or HMRC?

It's a HMRC issue
It's to do with HMRC not try updating tax rates on the online system for APs ending after 31st March. Not sure when they will?

What are the profits?

If they are less than £300k then there shouldn't be any difference to the calculations but I don't know whether HMRC just won't accept any tax returns after 31/03/13 until they get round to changing everything in, I think it's, October.

HMRC will accept

I've already submitted some 5/4/13 and 3/4/13 via Taxcalc despite the warnings and they went through fine and I've also received the demands back from HMRC, so it all seems to work at their end also.

The reason

is that until the Finance Bill becomes an Act ( backend of July ) then CT rates for 2013 are not law

I've been doing them without a problem ...

only a warning about AIA computations not being up to date if greater expenditure than 2013 limits (not relevant to mine).
