Filing Ct600 using HMRC free software

Filing Ct600 using HMRC free software

Didn't find your answer?

Has anybody submitted an 18 month set of accounts and the ct600 ( 12 month plus 6 month) using the HMRC software. I am not sure practically how this has to be done and I have not found any guidance. Secondly, the software also allows automatic submission of accounts to companies house. I need this to be 18 months not a 12month and a 6 month period.

Will 13 months do?

Using HMRC and Companies House software, I've submitted accounts and two CT600s for a 13-month accounting period recently.

It was time-consuming but it was fairly self-explanatory in the end. The hardest part was getting the signature validation bit sorted at the beginning. But then it followed through reasonably.

The output didn't always print successfully either.

The submission I did to Companies House was for its first accounting period, so I they already had captured that it was for a long period of account. I don't know how you amend the accounting period using their software, or if you can.

If you've got any specific questions, I'll see if I can remember...

CT 600 FOR COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEED WITH NO SHARE CAPITAL

I am trying to use the hmrc accounting template to file an accounts for a charity which is registered as a company limited by guaranteed with no share capital. Because the charity has no sharecapital the hmrc accounting template doesn't allow me to progress to the next stage, hence unable to submit the accounts let a lone complete the CT 600.

I would appreciate if anyone can advise me as to what to do to get round this. Thank you
