Ground rent

Ground rent

Didn't find your answer?

Company owns the freehold of a three-flat building. One flat owner owns all 3 shares at the moment.
Most transactions are purely to do with the maintenance of the property, though ground rent is charged at £150 p.a. per flat.
In doing the CT return, is the ground rent taxable?
All my other property maintenance companies don't charge ground rent, and no CT is chargeable.

Ground Rent

We have a few maintenance companies, the ground rent goes as member contributions, and is exempt in the CT Comps. So no CT is chargeable.
