Has anyone used 'Mr Spreadsheet' bookkeeping system

Has anyone used 'Mr Spreadsheet' bookkeeping...

Didn't find your answer?

A client has had his bookkeeping done by a bookkeeper who has used an excel based system called Mr Spreadsheet.

At first glance it looks quite a useful package, quite easy on the eye and simple for clients to follow.

Before I part with any hard earned cash can I ask if anyone has had experience of using one of the Mr Spreadsheet' bookkeeping packages and if so if they would let me have their comments

Many thanks

Looked fine to me

I did try this a couple of years ago and it worked fine. I ran it on OpenOffice as I am a Mac user and as far as I can recall there were no problems.

I am scratching my head to try and remember why I didn't adopt it. I think it was because I suffer from the same issue as most accountants - I like to create my own spreadsheets and while the accounts spreadsheet I downloaded was OK, it wasn't anything more than I could have written myself.

So I would say, yes “it does what it says on the tin" - but don't expect miracles.
