Help with Company Tax and Account return.

Didn't find your answer?

Hello,

Could someone help me with filing an online tax return.

I have reached the balance sheet continued page and have no idea what's going wrong with capital and reserves.

How am I suppose to fill in the boxes?

we don't have called up share capital as it has been spent?

Forget about the tax return until you have completed your accounts. Your called up share capital figure is the number of shares you have in issue multiplied by their nominal value.  If you don't know what those two numbers are, or come to think of it, even if you do, you should get an accountant to prepare your company's accounts for you.  It will save much time and money in the long run.

How ?

If you haven't called up your share capital, how have you spent it ?

Please see an accountant.  You know it makes sense.

Just in case ....

Just in case people think I'm being unduly harsh, I don't think I'd be helping the OP by giving him an answer when he's clearly out of his depth.  I'd just be giving him a spade to dig a deeper hole.

I'm grateful for the tremendous advice I've been given from people on this forum and I'm happy to help any fellow professional if I can.  However, my advice to any DIY accountant would be to get proper advice.  It's harder than it looks.

Agree

In all likelihood you have already made a number of mistakes along the way, you just don't know it yet.
