HMRC email response / acknowledgement

For the past two weeks, we have been sending in tax returns, corporation tax returns, CIS returns etc to HMRC but we have not received a single email responding to that filing?

They say emails have been sent so must be caught by our spam filters. I checked and there is no issue there.

Has anybody had similar?

People have been reporting this for a while :)

Look HERE for one of a number of threads of a similar ilk.

As elsewhere, presuming that you have third party software and that receives and stores the Government Gateway receipt & associated code I am not so sure that the email is proof of anything much. For SA at bes it quotes the UTR, but no year, or IR Mark, or other identifying code that the software receives.
